Detail Resident Evil 6 First Trailer: Modern Warfare Z?

It is true! Rupanya semua rumor dan campaign tersebut adalah legit, dan inilah debut trailer dari Resident Evil 6 (RE6) yang sangat epic:

Seperti halnya dream team, kini Chris Redfield dan Leon S. Kennedy akhirnya menjadi lead character di RE6 ini untuk membasmi bioterrorism yang menyebar di seluruh dunia. Seperti terlihat di trailernya, yaitu di China, U.S. dan suatu negara Eropa yang masih misterius. Selain dua lead male tersebut, disebutkan juga bahwa Ada Wong pun akan menjadi playable character meskipun perannya masih misterius. Dan juga terdapat karakter baru yaitu pemuda gundul dan juga wanita berbaju biru seperti yang terlihat di trailer, yang menjadi playable character meskipun kini detailnya masih diselimuti misteri.

Untuk gameplay sendiri, menurut Capcom adalah paduan sempurna survival horror dan action. Setelah melihat trailer-nya, saya hanya berkata, bahwa sekilas mirip sekali dengan Deus EX: Human Revolution + Gears of War + Modern Warfare. Sebab lokasi global, gameplay run-and-gun, action yang benar-benar over-the-top, serta musuh yang jauh lebih sangar dari sebelumnya (mungkin disebabkan oleh outbreak virus baru).

Selain itu, Capcom pun menyatakan plot RE6 sebagai berikut:

"It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident, and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President's side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world's population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left."

Game yang diproduseri oleh Hiroyuki Kobayashi yang merupakan produser RE4 ini juga akan mendapatkan bonus preorder ekslusif dari Gamestop, BestBuy dan Amazon.
