Acer pertama kali mengkonfirmasikan Iconia Tab A110 selama event Computex 2012 yang berlangsung awal Juni 2012 lalu. Saat itu cukup banyak yang berharap pada tablet 7-inchi tesebut, karena menggunakan prosesor quad-core, namun harganya diprediksi hanya 2 jutaan. Kini kita mengetahui kepastian berapa harganya.Acer menyebutkan melalui preee release mereka, bahwa tablet yang dipastikan bakal mengganggu pasar Kindle Fire dan Nexus 7 tersebut bakal dirilis 30 Oktober 2012 nanti untuk pasar Amerika Utara dan Kanada, dengan harga hanya $229.99, atau sekitar Rp. 2.2 jutaan.
