Still remember INheritage: Boundary of Existence? Yep, at the beginning of this year, a game developer from Bandung,Tinker Games introduces a Shoot ‘em Up (SHMUP) game that is full with Indonesian feel for iOS gamers. Tinker Games themselves packaged this game really well so that despite there are so many Indonesian culture element from the Arca and Rakyan story, the visual graphic is combined with anime-style visual graphic and made it more interesting.
And now, we got great news about this game. At the middle of this week, Tinker Games revealed that they bring this game to Japan! The Japanese version of INheritage itself is available started from 12 November 2013 on iTunes. There’s no significant difference of gameplay or storyline of this game, it only slightly modified its name to Inheritēji atau Inheritēji Lite. Tinker games also localized the language to Japanese so the Japanese gamers can easily understand the game.
Tinker Games was not alone in bringing this game to Japanese Market. To make it happen, Tinker Games was helped by a Japanese game studio, Kakehashi Games. It was also Kakehashi Games’ idea to bring INheritage: Boundary of Existence since they saw that this game was getting positive response from Japanese mobile gamers. The game itself was also exhibited at Indonesia Game Studios’ booth during Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2013.
For those unfamiliar with the game, INheritage: Boundary of Existence is a horizontal shoot ‘em up game that combines Indonesian culture, anime-style artwork and visual novel into an adventure full of challenges. Earlier this year, Tinker Games revealed that Boundary of Existence is the first installment of INheritage. INheritage series itself was planned to be consisted of three games.
