It has a long time DreadOut “gone” from the news after releasing the first teaser several months ago. After succeeding reaching funding target in IndieGogo and finally passed in Stream Greenlight, Digital Happiness as the developer works hard to complete this game. At first, this game is told to be released in the end of 2013. However because of one thing, the release schedule is delayed for some months.
Finally in the end of this April Digital Happiness answers their fans’ curiosity by confirming the release schedule from DreadOut through a teaser trailer! Yes, Digital Happiness has confirmed that DreadOut will son be released on upcoming May 2014, firstly in digital form through Steam. There is no official detail, whether in May DreadOut will be released as a whole or only the first episode as the news we heard in INAICTA event in last 2013. As flashback, in the INAICTA 2013 we heard that DreadOut would be released in to separated parts.
DreadOut itself is not the only project that is currently developed by Digital Happiness. They also prepare long term project fo DreadOut successor that they name with DreadEye. First time presented in last Duniaku INAICTA 2013, DreadEye is a project using Oculus Rift. The story here is that we only sit on a wheelchair and pushed by a nurse. Passing through the dark hospital alleys, there are many shocking appearance, moreover Oculus Rift can be turned until 360 degree. Wherever you look, what you see are only the creepy hospital rooms.
