Teaser Trailer for The Raid 2: Berandal is Finally Released!

Indonesia’s movie industry advancement is showing a positive trend, marked by the remarkable international success of The Raid. There are so many people (including you!) that highly anticipating the sequel of the movie starred by Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian. Through Twitch Film’s official website, Gareth Evans recently released teaser trailer for The Raid 2: Berandal. In the 1-minute video, we can see familiar faces from the first movie and several new faces that will be the central characters in the new movie.

There’s still no clue about the plotline of the second installment of the series. One thing to be sure of is that the story will be started two hours only from The Raid’s ending. In the teaser trailer, we can also see that Gareth Evans is bringing The Raid to a new level. There are more location shown and glimpses of car scenes. We can expect The Raid 2: Berandal to be more brutal than The Raid, especially with the cold and ferocious new character, Hammer Girl. Here, the trailer!

Whoa, what an intense watch and it’s still the teaser! The Raid 2: Berandal also seems to draw a lot of attention in the U.S. since Twitch Film’s reply @mmadnesstiff’s tweet that the the teaser trailer released earlier so fans in Indonesia can see it first. This wasn’t for no reason since they want to make sure that Twitch Film’s server won’t be overwhelmed when thousands of people from Indonesia and the U.S. accessed their site at the same time.

Even Scott Weinberg, a well-known movie critic, acknowledging that the teaser trailer for The Raid 2: Berandal is a great one.
